Don’t forget the Trees

On my walks, be it along the riverbank at lunchtime, or on a birdwatching trip to a local nature reserve or country park; you will always find trees.

They may not always be the focal point of the shot.

Looking through old photos

Flicking through old photo albums, or clicking on digital images on your PC. Its the same. That moment in time when you pressed the shutter and captured that image.

Walk on By

When out for a walk, I like to look around at all of my surroundings. I try to take the time to look at what is right in front of me.

The unusual shapes

and the colours

of Autumn

I don’t forget to look up

And of course across the lake

or river

Capturing life as it passes by

by day

and by night

Reflections

Taken early evening using the natural light

minutes apart

and from similar vantage points.

A Sunday Walk

In the Autumn sunshine

And soon it will be time to put up the Christmas lights.

The Nights are Drawing In

The leaves on the trees are turning from green to golden Autumn colours.  Misty mornings and evenings.  The shops are already full of sweets (for Halloween?) and if I was to look I am sure I would find xmas cards.

Though I much prefer a walk along the riverbank.
